It is Capitol Woodcarvers mission to promote and encourage woodcarving. In support of this mission, Capitol Woodcarvers hosts two woodcarving shows annually. These shows are open to the public to visit and view the art created by our members.

If you are a member of Capitol Woodcarvers you are invited and encouraged to participate in these inspiring shows. Your participation and sharing helps a lot to promote woodcarving and our club.

March Show

This show is scheduled the fourth weekend of March and takes place at the Center 50+ in Salem, Oregon. Club members set up and man tables displaying their art for visitors to view and enjoy. In addition to displaying their carvings, members can participate in breakout sessions, classes, auctions, raffles, and other activities.

October Show

This Capitol Woodcarvers show takes place throughout the month of October at the Keizer Art Association Art Gallery. The show provides a wonderful venue for club members to display their carvings to other artists and to the public. Participation in this Capitol Woodcarvers show helps to promote woodcarving, advertise our club, and recruit new members.
