We had a great November Capitol Woodcarvers meeting. The attendance surpassed several of the prior November meetings due in part due to the change in venue from a potluck to a pie and ice cream social. There was a consensus of all those present that we should continue this format for future November meetings.

The current slate of officers were reelected to serve another year. Jack Dalton was appointed to replace Kathie Dalton on the board. Kathie opened up her board position because of time restraints and being a full-time worker.The club gave her a hearty thank you for her past service as a board member for several years, and chairman of the show committee for the past two years. Kathie will continue with her marketing efforts for the Club.

Terry Moss & Don Currey conducted a Show & Tell, and Mike Reifel had his latest marionette, Oscar the Ogre, perform. Then everyone enjoyed pie, ice cream and socializing. The meeting concluded with a drawing for gift certificate awards for ornament donors. Winners were Donna Cereghino, Betty Jean Kendall, and Dave Hunter.
