Saturday Carving Session

It was another good one. We had a good turnout for open and decoy carving. Carvers were working on their Hooded Merganser Drake and there was one carver working on a Wood Spirit.

There was a lot of discussion and instruction regarding primary, secondary, and tertial feather groups and their placement on the duck ,and most importantly, how to best carve them.

Good progress is being made and it is anticipated that we will have some excellent entries for the Flyway Show coming up in September.

Come join us the last Staurday of the month.
