Great Pelican

Chuck Ayres started a pelican about 2 or 3 months ago. His plan was to make a carving for his deck. Here is the finished product. Chuck says it will find a good home in his house where it will take a place of distinction. Check feels it is his best carving yet.

The pelican is carved from Sugar Pine and is a job very well done. The detail is wonderful but it still retains a rustic and natural look and feel.

Chuck plans to display this carving at the Columbia Flyway Wildlife Show, Vancouver WA, September 8 and 9, 2018.

Great job Chuck.
