Laurie Ladd is a long time member of the Capitol Woodcarvers. She is a past Club Secretary and a great supporter of the Club.

Laurie is a regular at Wednesday classes and Friday afternoon open carving sessions. Her carving focuses on caricatures which are always great looking and admired by all who see them. Laurie also supports the Club at events such as the annual show and fair booths. If there is a Club activity needing support Laurie is always among the first to volunteer.

Laurie is also a pine-needle basket maker and she has created some wonderful fine-art paintings. If you get a chance you should look at Laurie's creative pieces of art.

As shown in the picture below, Laurie is a very focused carver.
