There is no need to be a Club member or a senior

Attendance at the Monday evening and Wednesday morning classes has fallen off. It may be that carvers are not aware that these classes are continuing. The classes have been very successful in the past and it would be a shame if more people did not take advantage of the excellent instruction available.

Both classes are structured for beginning to advanced carver participation. Projects range from simple to complex. New carvers do not have to invest in tools to start taking a class. Instructors will lend new carvers the tools necessary to complete a simple beginning project.

Monday evening class is taught by Denis Miller and the Wednesday morning class is taught by Jim Harris. Both Denis and Jim are great carvers and it is a pleasure to participate and learn in their respective classes. Projects include caricatures, ornaments, animals, birds, and much more.

Please spread the word about these great classes. Maybe you know someone who expressed interest in woodcarving who could benefit from these classes. Or. maybe you'd like to get together with other carvers Monday evening or Wednesday morning.
