The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by president Denis Miller. Two new members were introduced.

Secretary Reed Barker read the minutes of our last meeting. The minutes were approved. There was no Treasurer's Report.

A signup sheet was circulated for the Albany Woodturners show March 17 - 19. Our club has been assigned two complimentary tables at the show. Please sign up if you have the time to participate. It is always a good experience to represent our club at these events.

The show and tell was conducted by Jack Dalton and Don Fromherz. A new format using our overhead display equipment was tried. This format allowed display of the show and tell items on a large screen.  The audienced indicated that this format worked and all items were far easier to see throughout the audience. Thank you Jack and Don.

Many wood draw items were distributed by Jim Boatner.

Dave Disselbrett demonstrated how to carve a High Dessert Walking Fish. Several variations of this fish were on display. Dave announced that completed fish will be judged for uniqueness at the next meeting. Winners will receive a prize. Everett Carter announced that he will donate a knife to a winner. So get your imagination into gear and let's see those fish at the next meeting. Thank you Dave for the excellent demonstration and thank you Everett for the donation..

Barbara Millikan was once again published in Wood Carving Illustrated. Her Rose Bud appeared in the most recent edition of the magazine. Of course Barbara provided ice cream at the meeting. Thank you and congratulations Barbara.
