The meeting was called to order by Jack Dalton. There were in excess of fifty members present for the meeting. There were no visitors but two new members were intoduced. It is always nice to see new members.

The club will be manning an inside booth at the State Fair for two or three days. Volunteers are needed to help support our booth. Please let Jack Dalton know if you can spare some time during this event. It is a good and rewarding experience working the booth and talking about woodcarving with the many booth visitors. Participation also allows booth volunteers to share their carvings with the general public.

Several attendees provided treats for the break. These are always appreciated. Thank you to those who brought goodies.

Kathy Dalton gave an excellent presentation that outlined several online resources for club members. She walked us through our club website, our FaceBook page, our Pinterest presence and several other sites of interest to woodcarvers. Members wanting more information about these resources should contact Kathy or Bob Curtis.
